Yes, itās important to let go of the drama in our lives, but if your manager or higher up at work seeās you in a specific light based off inaccurate assumptionsā¦ you need to speak up for yourself. This can really determine the course of your career otherwise.
Make it a priority to learn how to gracefully and tactfully express your side and your truth, and you will begin to be seen in a light that positions you more as an authority (vs. a pushover).
Whether someone else or just YOU seeās you in that lightā¦ what matters is the elevation. And speaking your truth gets you there šÆ
